Bryan Cranston Might Appear as Walter White in ‘Better Call Saul’

Better Call Saul

After a lot of stories that may or may not be true about The third season of “Better Call Saul“, and now Bryan Cranston has spoken up about his role, possibly as Walter White/Heisenberg. Bryan was asked if he would be interested in making a comeback as Walter White on “Better Call Saul.” He talked about that he was all set should the opportunity arrive.

Although our Walter White is “all set” to get back on the sets of “Better Call Saul,” fans of “Breaking Bad” might need to wait longer for him to be included in the storyline.

However, Bryan said that he has been offered to direct an episode of the upcoming season. Bryan told about the news while guesting on “The Rich Eisen Show.” However, he admitted that he was uncertain what to make of the offer and that he is still thinking about the task he has to perform. Helming an episode on the show would definitely be an honor for him to do, but he also added, “I have an opportunity but whether I want to or not because I’m a fan of the show, and in order to direct I need to extend myself to learn what other fans don’t knows,”.

Bryan also said: “I owe Vince Gilligan so much. He was my champion to get this role,”

“If they were to announce and say, ‘We have this idea, we’d like…’ I would say, ‘Yes, I am down for it.”

Although Bryan won’t immediately pop up in the screen (as “Breaking Bad” fans know, it is very hard to get to the guy), his return was teased in the previous season and the first letter of the title of the episodes even spelled out his name.

In other latest news, “Better Call Saul” has been nominated in the Emmy’s for Outstanding Drama Series. This is the show’s second nomination after 2015. Also, lead stars of the show Bob Odenkirk and Jonathan Banks have also been nominated in the Outstanding Lead Actor and Outstanding Supporting Actor category, (match up each pair of items in order).

“Better Call Saul” is scheduled to premiere in 2017, the date of which is yet to be finalized.
